Each control contains intact, inactivated microorganisms suspended in a stabilized, blood-like matrix of red and white blood cells and blood culture media components, making them ideal for evaluating the entire molecular testing process, from extraction to detection. Supplied in single-use vials, these controls cover multiple microbial targets, pathogens and antimicrobial resistance markers, helping labs achieve reliable performance, streamlined workflows and confident results when they matter most.

Vortex room temperature MDx-Chex control tube at a high speed for 30 seconds.

Step 2
Pipette

Transfer 300 μL of the MDx-Chex control mix into the sample port and close it.

Step 3
Scan

Scan the barcode or manually enter the Control ID.

Step 4
Run

Load the cartridge into the auto selected bay or select a different bay. Verify the Control ID and select RUN.
