The Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant Terms and Conditions

The application, award, and administration of the Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant (“Grant” or “Grant Award”) are subject to these Terms and Conditions. By applying for this Grant, the recipients agree to the following:

Eligibility and Proposal Requirements
- Eligibility Criteria: The Grant is open to all scientists and researchers who meet the following criteria:
  - Affiliation: Must be affiliated with an accredited research facility or institution in the United States.
  - Field of Study: Should be actively involved in research related to the grant’s focus area.
  - Proposals: Proposals must be complete and written in English.
  - Original Work: The Proposals must be for an original piece of research.
  - Acknowledgment: Applicants agree to acknowledge and cite the Grant and any Streck products or services that are part of the Grant.
  - Sharing Research: Awardees should be willing to share their research with the Streck community, in summary form, and the broader scientific community, as disseminated by Streck.
  - Custom Requests: The Grant Award products and services do not include any custom requests for different sizes of the product or additional services and analysis.

Award Redemption Period
- Timeframe: Awardees have 7 business days from the Grant Award date to accept their Grant Award and must redeem their grant credits by March 31, 2026. This extended period provides ample time for planning and executing research projects effectively.
- The Grant Award is subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, and Streck reserves the right to withdraw the Grant Award if this offer is not accepted unchanged. No counteroffers are accepted.

Grant Details
- Award components in U.S. Dollars for reference purposes only. The Grant Award has “No Cash Value” and is subject to change or termination determined by Streck at its sole discretion. The Grant Award is VOID where prohibited by institution or other rules. All Streck’s products and services are provided “AS IS” without warranty and are subject to Streck’s sole discretion for use or replacement determined on a case-by-case basis for each Awardee.
  - $7,500 and $2,500 USD Credits:
    - The Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant provides $7,500 USD and $2,500 USD credits exclusively for Streck’s products and services available on streck.com.
    - These Grant credits cannot be combined with any other promotional offers, except for free shipping. The credits must be used for research purposes as outlined in the application.
    - For any inquiries regarding the Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant, please contact Kevin Billings, director of Business Segment – Stabilization.
  - Invitation to present at AACR 2026 in San Diego, CA, or other relevant U.S. conferences:
    - The grand prize winner of the 2025 Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant will be invited to present their project in person at AACR 2026 in San Diego, CA, with discussion of how they plan to incorporate Streck’s products and services into their research.
    - The winner will receive a formal invitation upon the announcement of the results. The acceptance of this invitation must be confirmed by November 31, 2025.
    - The grand prize winner will receive round-trip airfare (for those not located in San Diego, CA) and a two-night hotel package to present their project at AACR 2026. The Grant Award recipient is responsible for obtaining any necessary travel documents or visas.
    - Other relevant U.S. conferences will be considered or scheduled based on availability and/or presentation opportunity but must be reviewed and approved by the Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant Committee prior to trip sponsorship.

Review Process and Evaluation Criteria
- Committee Review: The Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant Committee will review all submissions for Proposals.
- Proposals will be considered based on how well the entry exemplifies the mission of the Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant and reflects the values of scientific innovation and social impact that Streck represents.

Reporting and Accountability
- Data reporting: Data, information, and insights relating to the grant as well as IP (patents, trade secrets, know-how) relating to how Streck products are utilized must be disclosed to Streck. Any and/or all information relating to the grant is confidential unless approved by Streck in writing.
- Grant citation: When acknowledging funding as part of manuscript preparation for publication, please use the statement as follows to acknowledge the grant: “Research reported in this publication was supported in part by Liquid Biopsy Accelerator Grant of Streck LLC. The content is solely the responsibility of the authors.”
- Intended Use of Funds: The grant funds must be used for the research purposes outlined in the proposal.
- Intended Use of Products: Streck products rewarded must be used and disposed of in an approved way according to the Instructions For Use. Any off-label use of any Streck product rewarded to winning recipients of the grant will require a separate agreement. Streck product shall not be resold.
- Collaboration With Third Parties: Any and/or all collaboration with any third parties (competitors or conflicts of interest) must be approved in writing by Streck.
- Any future sales relating to the grant subject matter must be mandated with Streck product unless otherwise permitted by Streck.

Liability Waiver and Compliance
- Legal Compliance: Awardees agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Hold Harmless: Awardees shall hold harmless Streck from any claims arising from their research activities including risks from travel and attending AACR 2026.
- All costs incurred by the Grant Award recipient prior to the start date and incidentally unless specified in the Grant Award issued by Streck are incurred at the Grant Award recipient’s own expense. You agree if awarded the Grant grand prize that you have voluntarily agreed to participate in the travel arrangements. You agree that you are aware that during your participation in a trip of this sort of certain risks and dangers may arise, including, but not limited to: travel by train, plane, automobile, or by other means of conveyance, or on foot; roads, trails, hotels, vehicle, or other means. You agree Streck and its agents are not liable for the adequacy or availability of any equipment or supplies as part of this Grant Award. YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THESE GRANT ACTIVITIES WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGERS, DELAYS, LOGISTICAL AND OTHER PROBLEMS IN CONNECTION WITH THE GRANT GRAND PRIZE AWARD AND TRIP THAT MAY BE INVOLVED AND HEREBY AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN WELFARE AND ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS OF ILLNESS, INJURY, EMOTIONAL TRAUMA, AND DEATH AND HEREBY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE STRECK AND ITS AGENTS OR ASSOCIATES FROM ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, OR DEMANDS FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE TRIP UNDER THE GRANT GRAND PRIZE AWARD.

Modification and Termination
- Grant Agreement: Streck reserves the right to modify or terminate the Grant Award or these Terms and Conditions for any reason or no reason and based on unforeseen circumstances or non-compliance determined by Streck at its sole discretion. Streck reserves the right to withdraw a Grant Award if this offer is not accepted without change. Streck reserves the right to cancel the grant at any time with 30 days prior written notice.

Use of Name, Image and Likeness
- Streck reserves the right to market and use the name(s), images and likeness as well as laboratory, facility names, and/or places of employment of grant awardees at any time without expiration.

By submitting a Proposal, you agree to be contacted by Streck regarding the submission of the Proposal and otherwise for our marketing purposes that may include similar or relevant services, products, and opportunities. All submitted information for a Proposal will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
