ARM-D® Kit, TEM/SHV/GES

The Streck ARM-D Kit, TEM/SHV/GES is a multiplex real-time PCR kit for the rapid detection of antibiotic resistance genes in Gram-negative bacteria. This comprehensive kit detects over 350 variants in the TEM, SHV and GES gene families.

Every kit includes positive controls for each gene target to monitor analytical process as well as an endogenous internal control (16SrRNA gene) to reduce false negatives due to PCR inhibition, DNA degradation or poor extraction.

All Streck ARM-D kits are compatible with most 4-channel real-time thermal cyclers. An amplification protocol and analysis guide are available for the following instruments: Applied Biosystems™ 7500 Fast and 7500 Fast Dx, QuantStudio™ 7Flex, Bio-Rad CFX96 Touch™ and QIAGEN Rotor-Gene® Q.
