Temp-Chex® Digital II

Temp-Chex Digital II monitors temperatures between -50 °C and 70 °C* and comes calibrated and with a NIST-traceable certificate to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. The thermometer probe is housed in a vial of glass beads, which creates a temperature buffer that prevents fluctuation during the opening and closing of doors. If the temperature goes above or below user-set values, Temp-Chex Digital II will alarm and automatically record the date and time for up to 10 alarm events.

*Temp-Chex Digital II is accurate to ± .5 -50 °C to 70 °C.

Frequently Asked Questions

Temp-Chex Digital II is a certified NIST-traceable digital laboratory thermometer for monitoring refrigerators, freezers, incubators and room temperatures from -50 °C to 70 °C. The thermometer comes calibrated with a NIST-traceable certificate to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Temp-Chex Digital II monitors temperatures between -50 °C and 70 °C. This wide temperature range allows the thermometer to be used with refrigerators, freezers or incubators, making it a versatile solution for most laboratory temperature monitoring applications.

The Temp-Chex Digital II thermometer probe is housed in a vial of glass beads, which creates a temperature buffer that prevents fluctuation during the opening and closing of doors. This design ensures that displayed temperatures reflect the actual storage temperature rather than temporary changes from door openings.

If the temperature goes above or below user-set values, Temp-Chex Digital II will alarm and automatically record the date and time for up to 10 alarm events. This automatic recording provides documentation of temperature excursions for quality assurance and regulatory compliance purposes.

Temp-Chex Digital II can be mounted magnetically, adhesively, by keyhole or using a flip-out desk stand. This versatile mounting system allows the display unit to be positioned outside the refrigerator or freezer, eliminating the need to open doors when checking temperature.

Temp-Chex Digital II features an easy-to-read display that includes minimum/maximum temperature, low/high alarm and date/time modes. The minimum/maximum temperature tracking prevents instances of unrecorded temperature swings, providing a complete picture of storage conditions.

Yes, Temp-Chex Digital II is individually serial-numbered and comes with a NIST-traceable certificate. This certification ensures accuracy and helps laboratories meet regulatory requirements from CAP, CLIA and other accrediting organizations for temperature monitoring and documentation.

Yes, a downloadable wall chart for daily temperature monitoring is available. This chart helps laboratories maintain the documentation required for regulatory compliance and quality assurance programs.
