La Vista, Nebraska – Streck announces the newest additions to the MDx-Chex® line of molecular quality controls. MDx-Chex for CT/NG/TV and MDx-Chex for MVP (multi-plex vaginal panel) are ready-to-use, full-process molecular quality controls designed for sexual health workflow validation.
MDx-Chex for CT/NG/TV and MDx-Chex for MVP feature instrument-agnostic design, making them compatible across multiple platforms. Each control contains intact, inactivated microorganisms suspended in a stabilized patient-like matrix to evaluate the entire molecular testing process from lysis to extraction to detection. Supplied in single-use vials that can be stored at room temperature, these controls cover multiple pathogens, helping labs achieve reliable performance and streamlined workflows.
“Laboratories performing sexual health testing need controls they can trust to validate their entire workflow. This expansion of the MDx-Chex line reflects our continued commitment to providing reliable, ready-to-use solutions that ensure expected performance of molecular instrumentation and tests,” said Chris Connelly, Director of Business Segment – Molecular. “We’re proud to play a role in the fight against sexually transmitted infections.”
