La Vista, NE – Streck will host a panel of local leaders who have recognized and embraced diversity and inclusion and championed it in their careers and places of work on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Streck campus.
During the event, panelists will share how they have led the way in diversity and inclusion efforts; guide company leaders through the importance of the work individually, organizationally and citywide; and speak about how organizations and individuals can increase their awareness and efforts.
Speakers include Tim Burke, President and CEO, OPPD; Jeff Kutash, Executive Director, Peter Kiewit Foundation; Othello Meadows, Executive Director, Seventy Five North; and Dulce Sherman, Chief Operations Officer of Whispering Roots, Inc.
Streck recently developed a diversity and inclusion strategy with three priorities: workplace (internal culture), workforce (internal and external recruitment efforts) and community (serving and learning from the community). As part of the strategy, Streck has formed a D&I council and has hosted several events and learning opportunities for employees.
