Omaha, NE Streck announces new enhancements to the STATS® Interlaboratory Quality Control program. The Streck STATS program is an effective way for laboratories to evaluate the performance of their instrument or method against a peer group and demonstrate compliance with quality practices.
The online report program, STATS-Link®, now includes real-time reporting. Customers may enter data online and access real-time reports immediately, compare control results to other laboratories any time, utilize rapid turnaround times and recognize trends or shifts sooner and increase confidence in instrument performance.
In addition, monthly reports feature Excel submission forms, allowing for easy email data submission. Customers may view current and archived reports, as well as peer group comparisons with essential lab and group statistics. Other features are Historical Data Comparison, a chronological presentation of Standard Deviation and Coefficent of Variation over multiple submissions or lots, and Managers Report, with customized comparison data for administrators of multiple laboratories using a common method or instrument. STATS also has improved account management capability, as each lab contact has individual access to the labs account, can manage instrument changes and input data and view reports.
STATS peer groups are comprised of other labs using the same instrument, method and control lot number. STATS compiles data in personalized, easy-to-read reports to help labs detect changes in their systems before these significantly impact patient results.
