Omaha, NE – Streck introduces Temp-Chex Digital II, a thermometer built to withstand a wide temperature range suitable for freezers, refrigerators and incubators.

Features of the Temp-Chex Digital II include: programmable low/high alarm; date and time stamp 10-event recording; easy-to-read digital display of current temperature and choice of optional display modes (date/time, low/high alarm, min/max temperature).

Temp-Chex Digital II measures temperatures from -50 °C to 200 °C (-58 °F to 392 °F) and is accurate to within ± 0.5 °C from -30 °C to 90 °C, ±1 °C from -50 °C to -30 °C, ±2 °C from 90 °C to 150 °C and ±3 °C from 150 °C to 200 °C. It has a minimum/maximum temperature memory.

The unit can be mounted magnetically, adhesively, by keyhole or flip-out desk stand, inside or outside of the temperature-controlled area.

Each thermometer is accompanied by a serial number and is NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and DKD (Deutscher Kalibrierdienst) traceable. The thermometer probe is immersed in a vial of glass beads, so readings will not fluctuate with the opening and closing of doors, resulting in a more accurate reading.
