Streck ARM-D Kits are comprehensive, real-time PCR kits that detect gene variants not covered by cartridge-based methods, ensuring accurate results to help guide antibiotic surveillance and infection control practices.

Test for the presence of genes encoding carbapenemases, extended-spectrum β-lactamases, plasmid-mediated ampCs and other emerging threats. 

β-Lactamase Kit
The ARM-D β-lactamase kit detects the following antimicrobial resistance gene targets:

  • CRE: OXA-48 , NDM, KPC, VIM and IMP
  • ESBL: CTX-M-14, CTX-M-15
  • ampC: DHA and CMY-2

ampC Kit
The ARM-D ampC kit can differentiate plasmid-mediated ampc resistance from chromosomal resistance. It detects the following gene groups:

  • DHA, CMY-2, ACC, EBC, FOX, MOX

OXA Kit
The ARM-D OXA kit detects the following OXA groups, with multiple variants within each group:

  • OXA-23, OXA-51, OXA-143, OXA-48, OXA-58 and OXA-24/40

The ARM-D MCR kit detects the following Mobilized Colistin Resistance families of plasmid-mediated resistance:

  • mcr-1, mcr-2, mcr-3-4-5

The ARM-D TSG kit detects the following Extended Spectrum β-Lactamase gene groups:
