Pipet Verification Service - PVS
PVS allows the laboratory to verify automatic pipets without purchasing equipment or interrupting the use of the pipet. Each PVS kit contains six vials of Receiver Solution and one or two vials of Pipetting Solution. Using the pipet or dilutor to be verified, the technologist performs six simple titrations. The kit is then returned to Streck for analysis and calculation of the results. Within 48 hours of receipt, a report will be faxed and then mailed to your laboratory. PVS results include a mean volume delivered, standard deviation (SD), coefficient of variation (CV) and percent recovery. This data can be used to determine the performance of your pipets and filed for inspection purposes.
