SICKLEDEX
SICKLEDEX detects the presence of Hemoglobin S in patient samples. Each test requires 2ml of reconstituted solubility buffer and 20µl of anticoagulated whole blood or 20µl of sickle cell hemoglobin control. Each test kit contains two bottles of phosphate buffer with Saponin, two buffer dispensing caps and two vials of Sodium Hydrosulfite reagent powder. Reconstituted solution has an open-vial stability of 45 days when stored at 2°-10°C. Unopened kit components are stable for 12 months when stored at 2°-30°C * (* beginning with lot 8224). A ten-place test tube reading rack is also available.
