Sickle-Chex
Sickle-Chex is a positive and negative whole blood control to test for the presence of Hemoglobin S in solubility tests and hemoglobin electrophoresis. Sickle-Chex is compatible with Streck SICKLEDEX and other manufacturers' solubility kits. Sickle-Chex is packaged in a 2.5ml plastic squeeze dropper vial. The vial dispenses an accurate sample volume. No pipeting is required. The product does not require reconstitution prior to use. Sickle-Chex has 100-day open-vial and 6-month closed-vial stability when stored at 2°-10°C.
