Sed-Rate Instruments
Streck’s ESR-Auto Plus and ESR-100 instruments are automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) analyzers that scan multiple sed-rate samples simultaneously. Sed rates are a general indication of a patient’s health condition, and the ESR analyzer is used as a non-specific screening test to determine the presence of infection or inflammation in the body. The ESR-Auto Plus is designed for hospitals, reference laboratories and clinics performing 10 to 100 ESR tests per day. The ESR-100 is a high-capacity analyzer designed for reference facilities and large hospital laboratories processing over 100 patient specimens per day.
Streck’s ESR-Vacuum Tubes provide a closed blood collection system, which reduces exposure to potentially hazardous material. The ESR-10 Manual Rack is a manual Modified Westergren system used for determining the ESR of whole blood in 30 minutes using 1.2ml Streck ESR-Vacuum Tubes.
